UNIVERSAL MODE: When selecting “Universal Mode,” place the dip (code) switch at the UPPER position labeled "COMMON CODE." Your fan remote control is ready to use. Note: If using universal mode, your fan can be controlled with other remote transmitters in the same setting. LEARNING MODE: To control the fan with a specific remote transmitter, select “Learning Mode” by placing the dip (code) switch in the lower position (L. CODE), then, Cycle the power to the fan via the circuit breaker. After restoring the power source to your fan, press and hold the “LEARN” button for at least 3 seconds. You must press the “LEARN” button within 60 seconds of restoring power to the fan. Note: Power must be off for at least 10 seconds, then turned back on for the remote control learn function to take effect. Note: If the fan is installed with a light, the light will blink twice. The remote control setting process is complete, and your fan is ready. For fans without light, check the operation using a remote transmitter. Note: To control multiple fans, ensure the dip switches are set at the same setting. A maximum of two transmitters can control a fan.
