Each board is finished by hand with multiple coats of a high-quality butcher block wax/oil finish that not only brings out the natural beauty of the wood grain but also serves as a penetrating barrier to prevent the wood from drying and cracking. The natural oils and waxes serve as water resistance, and exceeds the food-safe grade standards.
