These sustainably handmade velvet fungi ornaments are the perfect touch of whimsy for any mushroom fanatic, as well as a unique treasure for any nature lover. This process is truly a labor of love in creating unique small batch goods that are proudly made by hand (though unsigned or branded) by one little lady in the USA. Ophilya Handmade began in 2008 and has since flourished into a quirky world of handmade creations that highlights the innovative approach of zero-waste design. Krystal Sokolis works in a variety of mediums including woodworking, painting, leather working and textiles. She received her MFA in Accessory Design from Savannah College of Art and Design in 2018. Her work primarily focuses on ecological conservation of natural resources through sustainable design.
