One-of-a-Kind: Around the World Quilt Pullover (L)

A new take on your favorite sweatshirt! The Quilt Pullover features a classic crewneck cut with ribbing (made in the USA!) around the collar, wrists and bottom hem. It runs true to size, but I also enjoy sizing up for a roomier fit. This damaged, unfinished quilt coverlet (a quilt top and backing, without a layer of batting nor quilting yet), came to me by way of a neighbor's mother-in-law, who knew a quilt shop owner in rural Vermont who was shuttering her doors, and wanted to pass this old family piece along to be given a new life. I feel so fortunate for the opportunity to do so by salvaging the best parts, giving it a good soak, and transforming this 'Around the World' coverlet into a wearable piece of art. As this is made from a handmade quilt that has already lived a full life, it is possible it shows its history in the form of slight discolorations and/or areas of wear or repairs.
