Turquoise and Minty Tourmaline Aztec Inspired Tonatiuh Trinity Pendant in solid 14k Yellow Gold with Diamonds. From the top of jump ring the length is 60mm. This new turquoise and tourmaline Pendant with diamonds is part of a diamond of a new ancient indigenous inspired sub-collection draws from elements of the Aztec calendar. Fascinated by the Aztec calendar for years, I'm now translating this symbolism into my art! I am particularly drawn to the points along the outside of the sunstone (Aztec calendar) said to represent the rays of the sun god, and the four directions. It also closely corresponds with the antennas of the galactic butterfly in the Mayan Hunab Ku symbol that I’m so fond of. The galactic butterfly is similar to the yin yang but recognizes the center of the universe as the perfect balance between opposites being the most powerful source from which flashes of divine insight can occur. This qbeautiful Trinity Pendant turned out! It feels both earthy and grounding and bit tribal, yet celestial and ethereal and elegant at the same time. This opal necklace features a stunning Australian opal with soft green, glowing fire and lavender pink undertones, paired with a glistening baguette-cut tourmaline and Sonoran gold high-grade turquoise in yellow gold, with diamond accents. It also includes a crescent moon and an Aztec calendar symbol representing the sun god Green Tourmaline, also known as Verdelite, is perhaps Nature's best healing crystal of the physical heart, channeling its electrical energies into the center of one's being and creating a flow of wholesome energy to all parts of the body and self.
