Handwoven from Cashmere + churro wool + hemp This handwoven blanket was made by Turquoise Indigo Fibers and the Diné weavers on the Navajo Nation in Arizona and New Mexico.  It was made especially for the ANGEL CHANG S/S 2023 fashion show. The blanket is made from churro wool,  cashmere, and hemp grown and raised on the land. It is the first time an authentic Navajo blanket has ever been made using cashmere and hemp combination.  The handspun fibers are the natural color of the cashmere goat and churro sheep. The clay-colored fiber is dyed using the local red soil.  This authentic Navajo blanket that can be displayed as a museum piece or used for ceremonial purposes.  It is available to pre-order with a 3-month delivery time.   Each purchase brings revenue back to the Navajo community and helps keep  the traditional know-how alive.
