Web of Pacific Northwestern orb weaver spider on porcelain vase. I gather these webs from spiders in my garden and neighborhood, using non-toxic materials and methods that do not harm or dislocate the spiders. I hope these trace fossil records of the work of local mothers, hunters and makers on functional, everyday objects will nurture daily reflection on the beauty of spiders and the interconnectedness of all living things. Approximately 4.5” tall x 4” wide. Dishwasher safe, but hand washing recommended. Food safe glaze and clay.
