Fossilized web of Pacific Northwestern orb weaver spider (Araneus diadematus). Web gathered in Portland, Oregon, Columbia River Basin, North America. Dimensions: 3 3/4" diameter x 3 1/2" tall approximately. Holds 12 oz approximately. Hand-thrown porcelain with clear glazed interior and unglazed exterior. Dishwasher safe. Hand washing recommended. Food-safe clay and glaze. **There is some specking on the front and below handle--mineral deposits in the clay body showing through. See image. It poses no structural issue.
