About the Illustration Balloons was originally part of a fashion illustration series that accompanied a Spring apparel collection. The outfit illustrated was translated into a real garment inspired by travel, wanderlust and exploration.   The print along the hem of the skirt read "I DON'T KNOW WHERE I'M GOING, BUT I'M GOING". The balloons on the other side of the skirt were taken from a print in the collection which illustrated a silhouette of a girl floating away on red balloons. The crop-top pattern was one I designed to be indicative of a mountain range, further pushing the idea of exploring amongst nature.   This stylish piece not only has a great sense of fashion, but also includes a hint of quirkiness and wonder.
