Description Xoma/χώμα, the Greek word for earth and a sense of place. Their practice is deeply rooted in the historical remnants, expansive landscapes and the subtlety of seasons in the land where they work. The objects are wood fired over multiple days — the elemental result of melted ash and the path of flame on raw clay. These creations are inextricably linked to the terroir in the high desert of Northern New Mexico and a volcanic island in the Dodecanese.
