Handmade cup made with red clay fired at mid-range, cone 6 oxidation, in an electric kiln. The cup was hand thrown on the pottery wheel and is finished with a brown, blue, and a sandy glaze. After the glaze is applied, soda water (baking soda and water) is sprayed to specific areas of the piece to create a unique, atmospheric effect. The cup is 3 1/2" tall and 3" wide at the rim, and holds 10 oz. The piece is liquid, microwave, and dishwasher safe.
