Oak Barrels The two sized oak barrels that we currently carry are the 1 Gallon Barrel that features a Medium Char and the 5 Gallon Barrel that features a Medium Toast. The 1 Gallon Barrel is designed to be used to age whiskey. It has a spigot incorporated into it. The 5 Gallon Barrel is designed to be used to age wine. There is no spigot on the 5 Gallon Barrel. Regardless of size, both barrels come with stands.
