Strawberry Fields - Strawberry Blonde Ale American Ale Beer Kit Style: Specialty Fruit Beer ABV: 4.3% Color: Golden with a hint of a rose tint Everyone loves this style, but we had a tough time replicating it. Real strawberries added to blond ale were messy and lacked enough "punch" to effect the flavor, and regular strawberry extracts tasted very fake - or they tasted like the wrong thing. Finally we found a great natural strawberry extract that did the job, just remember to refrigerate it (along with the yeast) when it arrives. This is a golden-colored beer with a hint of pink, and the hops are present but toned-down to allow strawberries to shine through.   All our Beer Kits come in a variety of Formulations with two yeast styles and enough ingredients to make 5 Gallons.
