The first Snake Oil was introduced in May of 2013 back when we had our lone Bay View cafe and our Walker's Point roastery was under construction. Batch number 1 was a 'specially prepared' espresso blend which featured coffee from Honduras José Salomón Benítez and Ethiopia Idido – sounds good! We released three versions of Snake Oil that year! These days, Snake Oil is a springtime release, sometimes a blend, sometimes a single origin with a specific focus on fresh African coffee arrivals.
