Two Headed Rat Necklace

Nature glitches, and that’s when it gets interesting. The Two-Headed Rat Necklace is a small but deliberate rebellion. Two minds inhabiting one tiny body, as though being born an anomaly was the original blueprint. I made this necklace for the complicated souls. The people who feel too emotional and too distant in the same breath, who have been told they are too much and somehow still not enough. The ones who are soft and feral, tender and unhinged, who want to be held while also wanting to be untouchable. The ones who feel split down the middle and are still standing anyway. I sculpted this piece by hand in my NYC studio and will cast it in your choice of metal, turning that internal argument so many of us carry into something tangible.
