Wormatee Necklace

Half sea cow. Half dirt snake. Entirely questionable. The Wormatee is my mutant creation—part gentle manatee face, part long, wriggly worm body—cast in metal and dangling from a sturdy chain. It’s a talisman for those of us who don’t quite belong in the ocean or on land, but still manage to survive anyway. Every ripple and wrinkle is hand-carved by me in my NYC studio, so it feels less like jewelry and more like the strange artifact you fished out of a haunted tidepool. It’s weird. It’s oddly graceful.
