Crafted in featherweight linen, this is a quintessential pleated summer short. Sitting at the true waist, the trousers close at the front fly with a hook and bar button made of corozo, with additional welts in the back that fasten with self-covered buttons. The soft natural wrinkle is a hallmark of linen, and need not be steamed. Made from flax grown in Europe. Linen is a naturally low impact textile that doesn’t require pesticides or heavy irrigation. We prioritize linen made from non-GMO flax grown in Europe, because of a centuries-long history of quality craftsmanship and sound environmental practices in that region.
