It uses the low power consumption chip DS1307 and a 32.768KHz crystal. Its address and data are transmitted via the I2C bus. It counts seconds, minutes, hours, date of the month, month, day of the week, and year with leap year compensation. The Lithium battery ensures the data saved in the clock chip will not be lost even when power failure happens.
