Vintage Ashtray, Maurice of California, DL-701, Mid Century Modern, Tobacciana, Ceramic Bright Glazed Orange and Yellow, Retro Vintage Collectible, USA California Pottery, Large Ashtray, American Pottery, (Discontinued) Made in USA  Vintage circa 1960's Details:  This is a great example of Mid Century Modern style.  It is an angled shape ashtray with bright psychedelic colors forming rings of bright orange, red and yellow.  There are embossed decorations at the two points, one is a flower shape and the other are swirls and/or waves, all finished in a high shine glaze.  Holds 7 cigarettes.  It is marked on the bottom: "DL-701" and then you can barely visible, the Maurice of California name to the right, looks like additional clay was added over it, however, this has been confirmed as a true piece of pottery from Maurice of California.  There are several condition issues consistent with age, use and wear, please see "Condition" below for details.   Material:  Ceramic Dimensions:  14 3/8
