Vintage Mug, Beer Stein with Pewter Lid, Black Labrador Retriever, Barware, Linda Picken painting: "Winter Music", Dog Lovers, Vintage Mug Collectors, Bar Decor, Beer Lovers, Bar Gifts, Man Cave, (Discontinued) Made in Germany by Gerz Vintage: 1980's (estimated) Details:  This is a gorgeous Beer Stein with Pewter lid.  It is based on two of Linda Picken's paintings, "Winter Music" is on one side shows a Black Lab in the snow with Canadian Geese flying overhead.  The other side shows a "Black Lab" portrait, gorgeous dog laying in the dry cattails with mallards flying overhead.  The dog scenes are bordered by an oak leaves and acorns design, pine needles and pine cones. The lid is made of pewter and has a wonderful acorn and pine cone design, the mechanism for lifting is an acorn leaf.  The acorn leaf motif cascades down the handle.  This mug is a great addition to an existing collection, or the perfect father's day gift or a gift for a Labrador Retriever lover/owner.  Great addition fo
