C1972 SHEAFFER IMPERIAL GOLD PLATED BARLEY OVERLAY MODEL 827 FOUNTAIN PEN SERVICED MINT

For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Circa 1972 Sheaffer White Dot Imperial Fountain Pen in Gold Electroplated Barley pattern known as Model 827. This fountain pen has been cleaned and polished and now is in wonderful writing condition again. This writing instrument shown is known as a Sheaffer Imperial Fountain Pen in the Barley finish - it is a modern fountain pen from circa 1972. The cap has the Sheaffer "White Dot" on the gold plated clip. The cap and barrel is in perfect condition with no dings, dents or repairs. This Sheaffer Fountain Pen has an ink converter filling unit and works as it was designed to, I tested with water and works perfectly. This Sheaffer Imperial is known as a Model 827 and the design on the cap and barrel is known as the "Barley" pattern. The gold plated overlay has been polished and displays a brilliant "gold" color with no wear. The cap banding on the bottom of the fountain pen cap lip is stamped with, "GOLD ELECTROPLATED CASING CROWN LOGO
