For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Never Inked Sheaffer Targa Classic Fountain Pen, Model 1009, in the 23K Barleycorn Gold Electroplated pattern fitted with a 14K Fine inlaid nib. This fountain pen has never been inked. This fountain pen is in New Old Stock, Mint Condition, and Never Inked. This fountain pen was part of a purchase from a Stationary Store in Tennesse where I acquired nearly 50 New Old Stock Fountain Pens, Ballpoint Pens, and Pencils in the Targa design - this is just one of them. This writing instrument is a Sheaffer Targa Classic Fountain Pen and is model number 1009 with production beginning in 1979 till 1996. Again, this Sheaffer Targa Classic Fountain Pen is new as it has never been inked. This Sheaffer Targa displays a 23-carat gold electroplated finish in a barleycorn pattern with 23-carat gold electroplated trim. It is fitted with a 14-carat solid gold "FINE" nib. The cap lip is stamped, "GOLD ELECTROPLATED SHEAFFER CROWN LOGO SHEAFFER U.S.A.".
