This fountain pen has never been inked and comes with the scarce Slimline ink converter. I consider this fountain pen to be in New Old Stock, Mint Condition and Never Inked. This fountain pen was part of a purchase from a Stationary Store in Georgia where I acquired nearly 90 New Old Stock Fountain and Ballpoint Pens in the Targa design - this is just one of them. This writing instrument is a Sheaffer Targa Slimline Fountain Pen and is model number 679s with production beginning in 1989 till 1993. Again, this Sheaffer Targa Slimline Fountain Pen is in new old stock condition as it has never been inked. This Sheaffer Targa displays a brass and lacquer finish with a net pattern in black and gold highlighted in 23-carat gold electroplated trim. It is fitted with a 14-carat solid gold medium nib.
