CIRCA 1940S SHEAFFER TRIUMPH GOLDEN BROWN SOVEREIGN II FOUNTAIN PEN RESTORED

For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Restored 1940s Sheaffer Triumph Sovereign II Fountain Pen in the Striated Golden Brown color with a 14K two-tone nib. I have taken this Sheaffer apart, cleaned, buffed, polished, added a new sac, tested the filling, and am happy to report back it is now in excellent writing condition. This fountain pen cap and barrel are in magnificent condition with no chips, cracks, teeth marks, or repairs. The barrel has a perfect imprint that reads, "W.A. Sheaffer Pen Co. Fort Madison, Iowa U.S.A. Made in U.S.A. 875". There are no monograms or personalizations to either the cap or barrel. There is no brassing or wear to the gold-filled clip or cap banding. This Sheaffer Sovereign II measures 5 1/8" in length capped and 5 3/4" posted.  The 14K Two-Tone "79" Sheaffer Triumph NIB is a Medium Nib with the point measuring roughly .65mm when measured with digital calipers.
