For your consideration, we are offering for sale this circa 1951 Sheaffer White Dot Touchdown TM (thin model) 14K Gold Filled Fountain Pen. This fountain pen has been thoroughly taken apart, cleaned, put back together, and now is in excellent writing condition. I have ultrasonically cleaned the nib, feed, and section. Replaced the old ink sac with a new sac and barrel o-ring. Hand-polished the Gold Filled Cap, Barrel, Blind Cap, and 14K NIB. This fountain pen cap and barrel are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs with the cap always securing tightly to the barrel. The cap, barrel, and blind cap are 14K gold-filled and display absolutely no wear or brassing of the gold-filled material. The cap lip is stamped with, "SHEAFFER'S MADE IN U.S.A.". There are no personalization or monograms on either the cap or barrel. This Sheaffer Touchdown Fountain Pen measures 5 1/4" in length capped and 6 1/8" posted.
