CIRCA 1955 MONTBLANC 149 FOUNTAIN PEN SILVER RING CAP BANDING M-BB NIB RESTORED

For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Restored Circa 1955 Montblanc No 149 MEISTERSTUCK Fountain Pen with Silver Cap Band Rings. This fountain pen has been cleaned internally, put back together, and now is in wonderful writing condition. This Montblanc has the ebonite grooved feed, single unit barrel construction and telescoping - no thread filler unit. The cap has the two thin silver rings with the center gold filled ring. We can date this pen to circa 1955 to 1960 and consider one of the classical early Montblanc 149s that are cherished by collectors. This fountain pen cap and barrel are in magnificent condition with no chips, cracks, teeth marks or repairs with the cap always securing tightly to the barrel. The cap has the gorgeous Gold Filled Clip and Cap Banding which display absolutely no brassing. The cap banding is stamped with, "MONTBLANC MIESTERSTUCK".
