For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Never Inked Sheaffer Targa Classic Fountain Pen, Model 1004, in the Sterling Silver Straight Line pattern with Chrome trim and fitting with a 14K Medium Nib. This fountain pen is in New Old Stock, Mint Condition, and Never Inked. This fountain pen was part of a purchase from a Stationary Store in Georgia where I acquired nearly 25 New Old Stock Fountain and Ballpoint Pens in the Targa design - this is just one of them. This writing instrument is a Sheaffer Targa Classic Fountain Pen and is model number 1004 with production beginning in 1976 till 1980. Again, this Sheaffer Targa Classic Fountain Pen is new as it has never been inked. This Sheaffer Targa is made from Sterling Silver (.925) in the straight line pattern with chrome trim. It is fitted with a 14-carat solid gold "Medium" nib. The cap lip is stamped, "STERLING 925 SHEAFFER CROWN LOGO SHEAFFER U.S.A.".
