For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Mint Sheaffer Targa Classic Ballpoint Pen, Model 1009-2, in the 23K gold electroplated Barleycorn pattern with 23K gold electroplate trim. This Targa Ballpoint Pen comes with a new working refill and has never been used.  This ballpoint pen was part of a purchase from a Stationary Store in Tennessee where I acquired nearly 50 New Old Stock Fountain, Rollerball, and Ballpoint Pens in the Targa design - this is just one of them. This writing instrument is a Sheaffer Targa Classic Fountain Pen and is model number 1009-2 with production from 1979 to 1996. This Sheaffer Targa displays the 23K gold electroplate Barleycorn pattern with 23K gold electroplated trim. The cap banding is stamped, "GOLD ELECTROPLATED SHEAFFER CROWN LOGO SHEAFFER USA".
