For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Never Inked Sheaffer Targa Classic Fountain Pen, Model 684, in the 23K Gold Electroplate Medici Crosshatch pattern. I consider this fountain pen to be in New Old Stock, Mint Condition and Never Inked. This fountain pen was part of a purchase from a Stationary Store in Georgia where I acquired nearly 25 New Old Stock Fountain and Ballpoint Pens in the Targa design - this is just one of them. This writing instrument is a Sheaffer Targa Classic Fountain Pen and is model number 684 with production beginning in 1989 till 1991. Again, this Sheaffer Targa Classic Fountain Pen is like new as it has never been inked. This Sheaffer Targa displays a gold plated finish in what is known as the Medici Crosshatch pattern which is engine-turned brass with a crosshatch pattern filled with black lacquer highlighted with 23-carat gold electroplated trim.
