For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Circa 2002 Sheaffer Legacy 2 White Dot Polished Copper with Gold Trim Fountain Pen fitted with an 18K Solid Gold Fine Nib. This fountain pen has been cleaned and polished and is now back in excellent writing condition.  This Sheaffer Legacy 2 displays a Polished Copper finish with 23K gold electroplated trim fitted with a solid 18K/750 gold nib. The cap and barrel are in very fine condition - there is a pinhead scratch on the top of the cap shown in image 6. This Fountain Pen measures 5 1/2" inches capped and 5 3/4" posted. This writing instrument is a Sheaffer Legacy 2 Fountain Pen and is model number 862 with production from 1999 to 2002 - this model was part of the Sheaffer Legacy 2 line of fountain pens. The cap has 23K gold electroplated trim with a spring-loaded clip. "SHEAFFER USA" is stamped on the sides of the cap clip.
