PELIKAN M400 SOUVERAN WHITE TORTOISE FOUNTAIN PEN MED NIB NEW IN BOX NEVER INKED

For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Modern Pelikan M400 Souveran White Tortoise Fountain Pen New in the Box. This fountain pen has never been inked and always contained in the box from a non-smoking home. I consider this pen New Old Stock in original box. The barrel and cap are gorgeous with White Cap and Blind cap accented by the beautiful Tortoise color barrel with Gold Filled trim. The cap, for whatever season, displays a couple of stress fissures around the cap banding - this must be due to expansion and contraction because the pen has never been inked or used (see image 11). The cap of this fountain pen displays the gold-plated clip and double cap band. The cap is stamped with, "PELIKAN GERMANY SOUVERAN". The cap is always securing tightly to the barrel. There are no monograms or personalizations to either the cap or barrel. This Pelikan M400 was manufactured in Germany before 2003 as it has the two chick cap logo on top of the cap.
