1900s Edwardian Wedding Dress Cotton Tea Gown Broderie Anglais Whitework

Gorgeous, early 1900s Edwardian dress, or wedding dress. White cotton with Broderie Anglais whitework and embroidered organdy. Bloused bodice with net lace collar; 3/4 length sleeves have alternating bands of net lace with bands of whitework. Skirt has three layers with an attached ruffle over the bottom layer, all at different lengths with different laces. Bottom skirt has a stiffer, under ruffle to provide fullness. The layers give the dress a striking appearance but makes the dress rather heavy towards the bottom. Etched shell buttons at the back of the bodice, 3 hook/eye closures with a concealed, larger shell button at the waist, and snaps down from the waist. Fabric is sound and this is totally wearable. This dress is freshly clean and ready to wear! Best fits a XXS.
