Butter Pat Grindley Antique English Butter Chip Roses 1914-1918 Teabag Caddy

This is an antique butter pat or butter chip made by Grindley and Company, England 1914-1918 with a pretty rose pattern and gold trim. The scalloped and embossed butter pat measures 3.45 inches in diameter and is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or wear. Butter pats are used nowadays as teabag holders, sauce dishes or ring dishes as well as adding a bit of class to the tea or dinner table in their original capacity.
