This vintage souvenir tea caddy spoon or tea scoop has an applied enamel shield on the handle for Canterbury, England which is associated with Thomas Becket and 3 crows and the royal lion. The tea scoop has a round bowl and was made in the 1930-1940s and is marked EPOB or electro silver plate over brass. This tea caddy spoon measures 3 inches long, is in very good +++ used vintage condition with very minor wear and comes from a caddy spoon collection we acquired recently in England. Tea caddy spoons were small spoons or scoops popularized by the Victorians to lock inside a tea caddy or tea canister with the precious and expensive tea they were used to scoop.
