Crystal Open Salt Master Prism Notched Faceted Germany 1960-1980s

This is a vintage faceted crystal master open salt dish or salt dip with prism notching. This master open salt or salt dip was made in Germany and dates to 1960-1980s. The oval master salt dip measures 2.25 inches by 2.75 inches by 1.15 inches high and is included in Heacock & Johnson's book 5,000 Open Salts Collector's Guide. The master open salt dip is in very good +++ used vintage condition with very little wear or facet chipping. A very nice master salt and so versatile...so many uses nowadays... sauces, teabag holder, ring dish, paper clips... pretty well you name it!
