Haviland Limoges Butter Pat Stylized Antique French 1890s Gorgeous Delicate

This is a Haviland and Company, Limoges France butter pat, butter chip or teabag caddy made 1890-1908 with a lovely and delicate art nouveau pattern. The bone china dish, pat or caddy measures 3 inches in diameter. The butter pat has a stylized floral and foliage border in 2 tones of green with rust, gold trim and a heavy gold band.  The butter pat or teabag holder and is in excellent used vintage condition with no chips, cracks or gold wear. A very attractive dish for an individual serving of butter, sauce or sushi or an elegant home for your teabag.
