Mappin and Webb Silver Spoons And Sugar Tongs 1930s EPNS Boxed Set Coffee Tea

This is a fabulous vintage set of 4 silver plated EPNS spoons and matching sugar tongs made by Mappin and Webb, Sheffield and London, England 1920-1930s in the original fitted leather covered wooden box. There are only 4 coffee or demitasse spoons but room for 6 so 2 have been lost. The spoons measure 4.5 inches long and have shell shaped reeded bowls, a barley twist handle, fluted finials and hand applied spoon bowls. The sugar tongs are also 4.5 inches long and are a matching pattern. Although the box shows wear, the spoons and sugar tongs are in very good +++ used vintage condition. They are absolutely beautiful and demonstrate why Mappin and Webb are SO collectible. Such a collectible manufacturer!
