Rare Napkin Ring Squirrel Silver Plate Old Victorian Book Piece 1890-1910

This is a rare antique Victorian figural squirrel napkin ring in original condition dating to 1890-1900. The squirrel on a branch napkin ring is silver plated pewter and has no maker's marks. The design of the napkin ring itself is a aesthetic movement or English arts and crafts design floral engraved bands on the napkin ring perched on a branch with leaves with the squirrel jumping off the ring. The napkin ring is a book piece,  pictured in Figural Napkin Rings pg 73 by Gattschalk and Whitson book and attributed to a US company. The napkin ring as a whole measures 3.25 inches long by 2 inches high by 1.25 inches wide. A lovely example of whimsical Victoriana and very collectible.
