This is a soup bowl or cereal bowl made by Woods & Sons, England in older red transfer or transferware ironstone in the English Scenery pattern. The English ironstone cereal or soup bowl was made in the 1950s. The bowl is 2 inches high by 6.75 inches in diameter with the scenic or landscape design with a foliage and flower border. The soup bowl or cereal bowl is in very good +++ used vintage condition with no chips or cracks, very minor signs of use, with only a couple of discolored stilt marks on the back from the kiln, which is quite normal for this age and manufacturing.
