Antique Black Forest Carved 9.5" Foliate Accented Holy Water Font on Navy Velvet Mat

Fine antique Victorian era Black Forest hand carved 9 5/8" tall devotional piece, a wonderfully Holy water font with carved foliage & vine accents and displayed on a deep blue or navy velvet mat!  One of two similar pieces that we're adding this week, the other also Black Forest, religious in nature and with a matching navy blue velvet mat so be sure to take a peek at it while you're with us.  Thanks!  Very attracting vines & foliage around the inner cross & font carving, the shaped outer framing carved more like larger branches.  A delightful decorative and/or devotional piece, don't miss it! Very good condition.  Some wear to the velvet mat, all visible in the images.  Likely a small nip, chip or two but, as you can see, this one has been well taken care of.  There are some worm or bug holes visible and the left side arm of the cross has been reattached to the velvet mat.  There is also a repaired break and remaining chips to the lower left side of the outer wooden frame.
