Antique Edwardian Era 27" Wide Oak Cabinet & Double Shelf, Freestanding or Wall Mount
Unique antique Victorian to early Edwardian era 27" wide table top or wall mount cabinet & two-shelf unit, sold old growth European oak construction with working lock & key and wonderful visual & decorative appeal! Not to mention functional... Beautiful old solid oak with a warm aged patina or finish. Rather unique, it looks like it would be great toward the back of a desk top or resting on a dresser. Shelfs to display a few small treasures and a locking cabinet for those meant only for your eyes :). Very good condition. There is no backing to the cabinet portion, I'll have to look closer but I don't remember seeing any signs (screw holes or glue marks) that would make me think there was one. There is a small chip and glue repair to the upper rear shelf railing where it attaches to the cabinet (shown in the images). As noted, it has a complete working lock with old skeleton key.
