Antique French Baccarat 12oz Decanter PAIR, 8 Cordial Goblets, c1830 Diam Cut Crystal
One of their most elegant cuts, this is a set from c.1830s, very similar pieces shown in the reference catalogue page in that last photo (diamond cut crystal). The liqueur sized liquor decanter and 8 elegant "cordial" or liqueur goblets are offered together. Beg to be on your desktop, den table, bedside stand, don't they? Or mine! Very heavy cut crystal, so elegant and opulent. It's surprising to me that these don't have more damage. These are Louis-Philippe era, or slightly before. I believe it's one of the most beautiful of all the old Baccarat glass, so intricately hand cut. I have a collection of my own I'll be beginning to offer and disburse. Look for them all sold in sets, same pattern. Measurements noted on the photosVery good to excellent condition. Some tiny nips to the rims of a few of the cordials.
