Antique French Savoie Pottery "Pichet Parlant" Talking Pitcher, Cafe or Wine in Galzed Pottery
Charming tableware, one of my own collection of Antique French pottery "pichet parlant" (talking pitcher), or wine pitcher with raised applied writing, sayings or even cafe names on them. This is Savoie glazed pottery. They were often used at cafes, wine service at table. I've collected a bunch of these and used them for parties, a wine pitcher at table for each couple. I have a set of casual pottery plates which are perfect with these, and pewter pieces and under plates or chargers we've enjoyed and displayed for decades. I'm letting my collections go.
