Elegant antique French sterling silver 1 7/8" napkin ring with ornate guilloche style engraved or machined decoration, subtle convex shaping and banner with "Leontine" inscription or dedication! This one bears the French Minerve or Minerva hallmark, 1st quality for .950 or better silver content (the tiny number "1" within the mark designates 95% pure and so above the .925 standard for "sterling" silver). The silversmith mark is most likely for Lappara & Gabriel, Paris circa late 1800s.
