With very early 1800s marks, this service of fine ebony handled & 22K gold vermeil bladed & trimmed knives are just the thing to set out with entrement silver or for fruit/cheese service. The RARE combination is stunning on your table - ebony handles against the gold add a richness that is unparalleled. Combine them with some of our vermeil entrement spoon/fork sets to complete a dessert setting or entree, salad. Very good condition with exception noted for one golden knife tip or end, which will not be easily replaced except by a silversmith making a replacement from a mold of the ones present. Our silversmith quotes us $45 for this process, though I believe it does not include the vermeil process, or goldwash. Yours might quote you even less.
