HUGE Antique Black Forest Carved 32.5" Wall Plaque, Superb "Fruits of the Hunt" Theme Figures

Magnificent huge antique Victorian era Black Forest 32.5" tall hand carved wall plaque with exquisite "Fruits of the Hunt" themed figures including deer or chamois, game bird, satchel, rifle, powder horn vines & foliage and all depicted as if fresh from the hunt!  These old Black Forest wall plaques really are exquisite and make remarkable wall hunt decorative accents.  We just love them and they have a following, making them hard to keep in inventory though we try.  This one just in from France and as impressive as they come, both in size and quality of carving.  The rear plaque a a carved panel with the entire array of figures and hunting accoutrement carved from one solid block of wood.  Amazing!   If you've followed us for a while you know I'm a big fan of the old hand carved "Black Forest" items that come to us from 19th century Switzerland, Germany, parts of France and Italy, where they pleased the Grand Tour tourists and still please us all today.
