Set of 4 Antique French Oil Paintings on Wood Board, Nature Morte, Still Life, Trompe-l'œil Game Birds

I've got a thing for these game bird oil paintings on board, and for the French "nature morte", or still life works like them. Have a shipment in and another coming. This offering is for an unsigned but superb 19th century grouping of 4 wildlife paintings, game birds, all. Beautifully accomplished, that touch of Trompe l'œil, an elegant rustic palette. These display so well along with Black Forest carvings, plaques, and of course that's another passion of mine. I can see this set of 4, all exactly the same size, displayed on a long shelf, or bookshelf, aligned with an inch or 2 between them, or grouped in 4, 2 above and 2 below on a wall. It's a bit tempting to sell them separately, but after a century and a half, give or take, of remaining together, they will not be separated by me.  The plaques are shown in full, and then detailed. Each plaque is 11 3/4" x 7. 3/4" and the boards are nearly 1/2" in thickness. Yes, you could frame each one, too, but typically these little visual prayer
