In order to keep the stock IH gauges but have them read accurately on your new GM LS series engine you will need to run the factory Scout sending unit. We used to do this by drilling and tapping the block and putting the sending unit in, but we now are able to offer this adapter fitting. Simply, teflon tape it up and thread it all together.
