Kermit Lynch is a name deeply synonymous with quality and only represents producers of the highest caliber, so when you see someone who worked for Kermit Lynch for 12 years start their own project you pay attention. Lyle and Eric Railsback are brothers who have both individually become powerhouses in the wine world, and they joined forces in 2015 to create Railsback Frères, a small production project dedicated to quality winemaking in Santa Barbara. Their first wine was a rosé made in the style of Domaine Tempier's iconic rosé as an homage to the proprietress, Lulu Peyraud. Produced in the same way as Tempier's, it is direct-press, vinified and aged in old oak, with full malolactic fermentation.They have since expanded their holdings and produce a number of different wines from a variety of grapes.
