NV Etienne Calsac "Rose de Craie" Brut Champagne

ETIENNE CALSAC'S MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE BLANC DE BLANCS & ROSECalsac's wines need no introduction to our Art of Cellaring and Texas Wine School community, as they nearly sell out as soon as we receive them each year. A new parcel has landed and we jumped on the rosé and this special, VERY limited release Blanc de Blancs. 'Les Revenants' is a blend of 'forgotten' regional varieties, allowed in Champagne but rarely used because of the ubiquitous Chardonnay. Crafted from Pinot Blanc, Petit Meslier, & Arbane this bottling is both savory and rare-- only 800 bottles produced! The chalky, intense rose is 89% Chardonnay and 11% Pinot Noir and sourced mostly from the Grand Cru of Avize and the tiny Premier Cru Bisseuil.
